As maintenance is drawing to a close, we are busy finishing up all the big jobs!
Almost a month ago we took the ship apart and started to chip and scrape paint and varnish off the different sections. The forward water tanks were completely cleaned out and super chlorinated after being chipped, scraped and painted and having new gaskets fitted to the tank lids. The lovely captain has been playing under the bowsprit for the last few weeks taking off and fitting the new dolphin striker and wires, so now it is all shiny and clean! Also we have received a delivery of mustard yellow paint and we had to use it so now the deck houses are mustard yellow much to everyone's amusement! Looking forward to seeing the sun when we get south! Much love, Nellie and her crew xx
