We're here! Where exactly here is, is down to our 2nd Mate, Ali's, superb navigation and crossed fingers. There was great excitement as we spotted LAND on the horizon early on the 27th. Guadeloupe was beckoning and we are now safely alongside in Pointe A Pitrie. The crossing took longer than usual due to the fickle Trade Winds, but it was still a great experience. A few sore heads this morning due to an exhuberant night ashore on land, that did not roll and pitch! Today we are being bussed to the botanical gardens, rainforest and waterfall for a much anticipated swim, and, what else, but a rum distillery!!!!! Signing off from 30 degrees, that's celsius....
