Motoring overnight down and across the channel manoeuvring to avoid shipping lanes and unpredictable fishing craft. Many of us seeing the Milky way for the first time in years---and a couple of shooting stars, what a night to behold only to be followed by a magnificent sunrise.
By 10:30am the sails were worn and a light breeze brought us to the Dieppe pilot who in turn brought us to the inner basin Fortunately(for him) he left us and so was not available to assist two fishing vessels going out of the basin had he done so we would not have seen an amazing example of French seamanship With the sun still beaming down on the voyage crew of 325 we all left to enjoy the town of Dieppe AFT PORT
