Freezing temperatures seem so far away as blue skies and blue sea tempt us into our sun hats and T shirts while we head for the island of La Palma currently motor sailing with the stay sails.We are hoping to put up more sail turn off the engines and listen to the sound of the sea.
Tonight will be our first night at sea. It can be cold at night, so there is still a need for
a pair of sailing boots.
As always there is an interesting bunch of people on board from sea cadets to OAPs.
Some of us this morning took up the invite to go aloft while others have chose to stay on deck or wait for the assisted climbs. In the meantime we will sit in the sunshine eating our chocolate Brownies
