31/01/13 - Tenacious

Another beautiful day! We were bound for Riposto – a small port on the East coast of Sciily. But before we arrived, it was 'HAPPY HOUR’. This involved all four Watch Teams cleaning above and below decks for approximately 1 hour.Then we would have 'SMOKO’ tea or coffee or cold drinks – with Mika, the Cook’s special creation of cakes, chocolate crispies or bidcuits. Yummy!
My Watch was assigned to cleaning below decks.I
Later we docked in Riposto where the Captain planned to stay for two days. A trip was organised to Mt. Etna the following day. After supper, most people went ashore to explore the bars – but I had an evening in to arrange my bunk for a good nights sleep
