We are just getting underway again, having spent a restful night at anchor in Bangor bay. Happily, the forecasted gusts of up to 49knots didn’t hit us and so anchor watches were uneventful.
The sea air has sharpened appetites and cooked breakfasts and mountains of toast went down well this morning. The calories will soon be burnt off as we go to sea. The morning started with a second evacuation drill, and then straight into watches to hopefully haul some sails up.
Everyone has settled in well, and as it is Halloween (or mother in laws day, as a certain Capt’ calls it!)… there are bound to be some tricks and treats in store !
