The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) is delighted to announce it is holding its prestigious annual ball on the 27th March 2009 at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.

This superb event is open to individuals, groups and businesses who would like to support this leading south coast sailing charity whilst enjoying an unforgettable evening’s entertainment.

The theme is ‘Mad Hatter's Ball’, so be prepared for some unusual antics and crazy decorations! Drinks are available upon arrival and live music will be supplied by ‘The Accelerators’ – an Isle of Wight sensation who regularly feature during the famous Cowes Week celebrations.

With a fantastic four course meal and the opportunity to dance the night away to some great music in this superb venue, you’d be mad to miss out!

Southampton based law firm, Thomas Eggar LLP, has shown its support for local charity and the future of sail training through their sponsorship of the ball.

Caroline Armitage, partner of the firm said, ‘Thomas Eggar is delighted to be supporting The Jubilee Sailing Trust in 2009. We have been extremely impressed with the dedication and commitment the Trust shows in delivering truly unique opportunities to people of all abilities. We hope, through our support, the Trust can continue to promote its work nationwide.’

“Not only is a fantastic evening guaranteed, but the knowledge that every penny raised goes to help disabled people experience the thrill of a lifetime makes it all so worthwhile.” - Sarah Staines, fundraising manager, JST.

Tickets for the event are priced at a fantastic £50 per head, alternatively, you can book a table of 10 for £475.

The Jubilee Sailing Trust owns and operates two magnificent tall ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious, which are the only tall ships in the world that are specifically designed to enable both able bodied and disabled crew to sail together as equals.
