There are a wealth of running events around the UK and abroad. Many events, like the London Marathon and the Great North and Great South Runs also include wheelchair races. To see which events you could take part in 2012 to fundraise for JST, click here or contact fundraising@jst.org.uk
London Marathon
Even when the ballot is closed, you may still be able to get a place through our JST reserved places.
BUPA 10K run
The race is a 10 kilometre run, or 6.2 miles, which starts and finishes at St James Park. The route will include famous landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye - a fantastic chance to see the sights whilst supporting our charity.
Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon
The adidas half marathon is an extraordinary opportunity for runners of all standards to experience the thrill of racing on the same hallowed tarmac that saw legends such as Schumacher, Hamilton, Stoner and Rossi win some of their greatest Grand Prix titles. It’s the equivalent of being let loose to run cross-country at St. Andrews, serve an ace at Wimbledon or score a penalty at Wembley!
BUPA Great North Run
The world's most popular half marathon! Participants run between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields in England. For the first year it was advertised as a local fun run; twenty years on it has become one of the biggest running events in the world. In the UK only the London Marathon and British 10K attract similar numbers of athletes each year.
New Forest Half Marathon
Are you ready for a real challenge? Then take on the New Forest Half Marathon! This Multi-Terrain event has to be one of the most scenic half marathons around and a real must for people looking to get in shape and conquer this challenging course.
BUPA Great South Run
A fast, flat and scenic course in Portsmouth and Southsea, complemented by a superb atmosphere has propelled the BUPA Great South Run to being one of the most popular running events in the UK. It's an event that is just as suited to the international elite athlete as it is to the recreational jogger.
Hell Runs
Ever heard of the Bog of Doom or the Hills of Hell? Ever fancied getting covered from head to toe in mud all in the name of 'Fun’?! Ever fancied taking on the Devil in a race to the finish? If any of that sounds like fun, then why not join the thousands of others who have danced with the Devil and taken part in the UK’s premier off-road running experience?
