Sponsor a JST Mile and help change lives around the world

JST Sail the World is about giving you the chance to take part in an adventurous ocean passage. It is also about taking the JST ethos of mixed physical ability sailing to new countries around the world. At every port of call, a short voyage programme will enable local able-bodied and physically disabled people to sail on a tall ship for the first time in their lives. Lord Nelson will also make history by being the first accessible tall ship in the world to visit the South American, African and Asian continents and to sail around Cape Horn!

Passage 1 The epic adventure begins on 19th October 2012 with a 55 day passage from Southampton to Rio de Janeiro, with stops at the Canary Islands and Cape Verde Islands.

Passage 2 starts on 29th December and, after the famous New Year's Eve fireworks on the Copacabana beach, will see Lord Nelson arriving in Cape Town to become the first accessible tall ship to visit the African continent.

Passage 3 starts on 28th February 2013 and spans 47 days of amazing sailing in the Indian Ocean from Durban (South Africa), via Mauritus and Sri Lanka, to Kochi (India).
