The Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown into the second largest sailing regatta in Britain, second only to Cowes Week and the largest construction industry regatta in Europe.
The regatta started in 1988 and now attracts over 3,000 people and more than 250 boats for four days of racing, networking and socialising. The regatta has also raised more than £1million over the years for sailing charities that enable disabled and disadvantaged people to realise the thrill and adventure of sailing. The Jubilee Sailing Trust is one of the charities who have benefited from the efforts of the Little Britain Challenge Cup, receiving more than £450,000 since 1988.
The 2011 Little Britain Challenge Cup was, yet again, a fantastic event taking place with a spectacular gala dinner and some very competitive racing. For more information about how to get involved in the 2012 event visit www.littlebritain.co.uk
