The Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown into the second largest sailing regatta in Britain, second only to Cowes Week and the largest construction industry regatta in Europe.
The regatta started in 1988 and now attracts over 3,000 people and more than 250 boats for four days of racing, networking and socialising. The regatta has also raised more than £1million over the years for sailing charities that enable disabled and disadvantaged people to realise the thrill and adventure of sailing. The Jubilee Sailing Trust is one of the charities who have benefited from the efforts of the Little Britain Challenge Cup, receiving more than £34,000 in 2007.
The 2008 Little Britain Challenge Cup was, yet again, a fantastic event taking place between 11 September and 14 September with a spectacular gala dinner and some very competitive racing. For more information about the 2008 regatta and how to get involved in the 2009 event visit
